Actually no, he has one more year of Kindergarten experience. That still makes him a freshman. Hell I think Henrik Rodl was 24 his freshman year. In collegiate sports you're a freshman your first year on the court and a Senior your 4th year. Its as simple as that. The only added bonus Hansbrough might have is that he's better physically developed because of an extra year.

 

Seems to me that it would take an even better coach to win with players that aren't yours, or you could at least use that argument as much if not more as people use it as the reason he won it.

He had good teams as Kansas and good players. I also agree there are times when he choked as a coach, but that goes for all coaches, including coach K.

He should have an easier time recruiting at UNC than Kansas and may be able to get even better players overall. Time will tell on that.

I don't know for sure if you were one of the many dook fans that said Roy would never get a title, but no matter with whose players, he was able to do it his first season here.

FWIW... a lot of dookies ignore the fact that the dookies own Eric Boeteng is also a 20 year old freshmen, but he's not exactly doing the same things Hansbrough is doing as a freshmen.

Oh and a history lesson. Dockery was also a 20 year old freshmen.

But you still have ignored the statement. Why is it an issue with Hansbrough and not Boeteng? Is it because Boeteng sucks? I remember telling you Boeteng would suck... you told me I didn't know anything about basketball or something to that effect. I remember telling you Shav sucked... same thing... As far as Turd goes, I've spoken with a number of dookies that have started mentioning the "Tyler is 20" spiel. The only reason it was posted in this thread, is because this was the last place it was mentioned, but that would be a move that makes sense. Not exactly something you know how to grasp.

 

If you have spoken with Duke fans who have brought it up maybe you should have this discussion with them instead of behaving like a moronic piece of shit yet again.
