    Because your not addicted to carbs. Hamburger helper and mac n cheese are "comfort" foods for carb addicts.

    We keep a few boxes of Cheesy Hashbrowns around for our bi-monthly carb fest.

    Secret tips to make it really yummy, use some shredded colby jack cheese on the top and grill some onions in olive oil and thyme and mix it is with the hamburger and cheesy hashbrown mix.

    My kids love hamburger helper. I tend to look at it like what you eat when you are broke. The kids would rather have it than just about anything else short of Burger Thing or McNasty, so I end up eating it about once per week.
