    So how does this rank thing work? Is it just for matchmaking, or will I get new shit as i progress, a la Battlefield2?

    Yeah. I've been close on Snowbound, but it takes so damned long to fire and people inevitably move away from each other. On Construct there just isn't a place where you can get good line of site since everyone congregates around the elevators. If it wasn't FFA only then I could probably do it by hitting a vehicle in team slayer.

    you can get it in oddball or king of the hill though, since most everyone gets in close during that. It should be easy/easier if you only care about getting that achievement and hang back.

    It does suck that these have to be done only in matches with 4 other people.

    When I get oddball or crazy king people seem to veto it anyway, and when it does go through it hasn't been the right map. Honestly I'm just about done with this game anyway, as it's starting to lose its appeal, I'd just really like to finish that one last achievement.
