Yea we do what we call sprints.

We'll leave Monroe tonight at 10pm, get to Southport around 2-3am, spend 2 hours or so fueling/oiling the boat engine, getting ice, snacks, drinks, etc and have the boat in the water by 5am. 2 hours out to the spot (40-50 miles) and we're fishing by 8am. We'll fish all day saturday and most of the day sunday, pull the boat out of the water and drive straight back. Drop the boat into Lake Norman and wash all the salt water out of the bilge and engine, clean the fish and be home by 8 or 9 sunday night....

So, yea. I'll be gone all weekend. They're only calling for 1-2 ft seas on Sunday and less than 1 ft on Saturday. 76* on Saturday and 74* on Sunday.

Should bring home some Yellowfin, Amberjacks, and good size King's. They're all hitting hard. And this is the time of year when they're big.

given my total inability to move my aim while holding down two triggers, i find dual needlers is pretty nice. they unload pretty quick and will aim for you. pretty significant damage if you score a bunch of hits.
