Anyone ever been to one? Worth the trip? Looking for some furniture and a couple light fixtures on the cheap. Do they have any decent stuff or is it all crap?

A realtor friend of mine was just telling me about picking up a stainless steel dishwasher there for 50 bucks. He said it orginally sold for 800, had the warranty/paperwork with it.

Had a scratch. Where is this place?

I'd always heard you could sometimes find some cool stuff there and I checked out the one in Charlotte and found a whole lot of crap and not much else I'd have

It's very hit or miss. I've been to the one on Wendover a couple of times and have seen some really nice stuff, but most of the time it's a bunch of crap.

I don't mean to self promote but I coincidentally did a store on the ReStore Friday. They have some good buys in there. Some of the cabinets were really nice. Some pedestal sinks, too. Read, or if you want to watch, press play.

The store in High Point gets Furniture Market samples and rejected special orders from some of the larger dealers. They also have accessories from the bi-annual market such as lamps, drapes, and "table clutter". It is difficult to time when the good stuff comes in because different displays are changed at random times by the marketers; you never know when things will show up.
I have had good luck looking for doors, cabinets, light fixtures, etc. to repair my rental houses, but I am not particular about the aesthetics for my rentals.
