I have to believe Fox had a lot of input until this year. Also, there will be another in his place that will have input, more possibly, depending. I feel like Fox was scared for his job and pushed us into making some desperation moves, hopefully things will change for the better. If Hurney was the driving force behind some of these draft day trades, God help us.

I do like things better since Softli left, as far as identifying talent.

Can't stand Belichick or the Pats but gotta admire how they stockpile picks. We, OTOH, are in the George Allen school.

 

Thats whats fucked up, Hurney is as much responsible if not more so than Fox...

The next guy, especially if its Shottenheimer or Harbaugh won't have the pull to tell Hurney to shut the fuck up and get final say over the roster. Gruden or Cowher might be able to get final say but who knows. Hurney might have some pics of JR with some strippers from the Gold Club or some shit...

 

If I were JR i would hire Jimmy Johnson for the month of April 2011 as a consultant to look at what should stay on the pampers roster, what garbage needs to be dumped, and what can be brought in to upgrade every position on the team. Say what you want about JJ but he was an awesome talent evaluator. Even Barry fuckin Switzer won a super bowl with Johnson's roster.

 

We should have stopped all this trading after the Stewart Otah draft. Yeah both were non existant this year but when they were both healthy we looked damn nasty.

Brown was rated highly but lets be honest, the dude is tiny. He's like the anti - Peppers.

Maybe some blame needs to be applied to the Gamble extension as that seemed to put the nail in the Peppers coffin. Thats assuming we could have persuaded him to stay.

I dont know what to say about AE. That decision looks stupider every week.

And for those wishing to see him at QB need a reality check, he's built like a rake and would get knocked the fuck out.

 

right now Bellicheat and the Pats look like genius and Hurney looks like Bozo the clown, they have what looks like the 1st pick of the 2nd rd for a guy who has gotten a uniform what twice? Hurney needs to pack and leave along side Fox.

 

I'm guessing Big Cat had some influence in a number of the decisions I've been unhappy with, if they were all Hurney's ideas he needs to go along with Fox for sure.
