Just some rumors, some from guys at the Senior Bowl.

Fox got some face time with Palmer, Boller, and Sims from the Senior Bowl. I can only hope his time with Sims turned him off, becuase he did. Palmer, on the other hand, got rave reviews from every scout.

Also of note, we spent some time with Lineman Eric Steinbach, George Foster, and Tony Pashos. Pashos, a mid-round pick, could be converted to guard. Steinbach played guard at Iowa, but played a little tackle last week and was impressive. Most likely though some team like the Titans that could use a versatile lineman on him will spend a first rounder on him. Foster's value could match up in the second.

And finally, Justin Fargas may have peaked our interest. AT 6'1, 210, Fargas has accelleration, quickness, and strength. He catches the ball well and runs well and fast through the hole. The only thing this guy doesn't have is a good medical history. He was healthy this year, but this was his first.

If we could somehow trade down, get an extra first day pick, and take Boller (QB), Steinback(G), Foster (OT) and Fargas (RB), that might be ok.

If we got a FA WR, and ended up with Boller, Steinbach, and Foster, I'd shit. Even just Boller and one of the linemen, and then someone of good second round value as well.

I'm willing to take bets right now on the Panthers trading down. Ain't gonna happen. Not because they wouldn't, but because the top ten teams are ALL looking to trade down, and no one is looking to trade up, because the players just aren't there. The value in this draft is in picks 10 - 25 IMO. You might see some position jostling in that range if someone starts to fall, but other than that, trading down is just a dream. (although a happy one)
