these are the movies you love to watch, but know they suck -- or at lesat 99% of the plant thinks they suck. when you're flipping channels on a sunday afternoon and come across one of these flicks, you can't help but get sucked in. and you know what? you don't feel bad about it at all. you know it's a weird thing, but, hell, everybody's got some.

    here's my list:

tron -- i was a video game junkie

krull -- my first 3D movie

mortal kombat -- i like that otherworldly battle stuff

i spit on your grave -- i laughed my ass off at the scene where the guy is in the boat doing circles

johnny be good -- aw, c'mon! we all wanted recruiting trips like johnny's

the last starfighter -- video game influence again

the neverending story -- not sure what it is here, but it's got me

point break -- 100% pure adrenaline! keanu is so god awful in this film, and the plot holes are big enough to drive a mac truck through -- but that's the appeal, i think.

not making the list: cannibal women from the avacado jungle of death -- i'll argue till the death that this REALLY IS a decent movie

    I'll take these 3.

I remember Tron being criticized for not being understandable, 'cause everyone was computer illiterate.

just one of the guys- really cheesy 80's movie, but the chicks bro (buddy) is a trip in that movie.

killer klowns from outer space- yet another cheesy 80's flick. Especially the end when you can see the strings on the super clown. Although, i think that maybe you were suposed to see it. oh well, it's funny seeing people act so serious about clowns.

The gate- if you can't tell that the claymation was used when they are fighting the monster in the end, well, you'll probably love a movie like little nicky.

Damn Larry, we must come from the same seed.

Add Joe Dirt, Strange Brew, and Trmors II to that list and you got mine.
