    I went and saw Vince Gill, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Dwight Yoakam, and the Mavericks when I was younger.

    I was on the stage crew for Vince Gill at the Fish Camp Jam in Gastonia way back when he was just getting noticed. Howren Music provided the sound equipment, and the mike feed and amps kept going out. The Howren brothers were holding wires together to keep everything going, but Vince eventually abandoned the mike and starting screaming the lyrics over the rest of the band. It was hysterical.

    me and the wife were at that show math - she was a huge Vince Gill fan and was really pissed that the sound was so bad
