Want to make sure I guess correctly. It's one of the following.

    Medial meniscus tear or trashy
    Arthritis
    Bursitis

    Bone Cyst
    Tibial Plateau bruise or fracture
    Femoral Condyle bruise or fracture

OK, I'm going to rule out "Wimp factor" because I'm not allowing it to stop me from doing anything, plus I just sparred with a brown belt who was unable to submit me. I'm also going to rule out any fluid collection and muscle strain. What about MCL? I thought that if I had pain on the inside it was possible MCL and on the outside possible ACL, no?

I don't know about MCLs, but if you tore your ACL you would know as soon as you tried to change directions.

its a torn meniscus. you probably have cartilidge in your knee. I tore mine last summer. I couldnt do the runners stretch for a long time. squating down as far I could hurt as well. funny, jogging didnt seem to hurt it. I didnt have that much swelling either and I waited too long to go to the doc. he said if I can live with the discomfort , do so. if not come back and I can get it scoped. I just let it heal up on its own. its almost all the way better, but I can tell there is still some loose bits in there. unless it gets worse, no surgery for me.
