Whatever it is, it's not too bad, but there's is some sort of problem in my left knee, and since it's the only physical pain I have right now, I'm just curious as to what it could be. I get a burning pain on the inside side of my left knee. I have no swelling and running or other impact doesn't seem to further irritate it, but I can't do the "hurdler's stretch" (sitting on my butt with my right leg extended and by left leg bent next to me) without tremendous pain. The only thing I know that may be on the inside side is an MCL. I haven't really tested lateral durability for the knee, but it doesn't click or make an weird sounds.

Stand up straight and put pressure on it pushing out from within and in from without. Any pain?

Some pain pushing from the inside out, but not from the outside in.

That's probably some meniscus damage. I have the same thing.

Try the women in your life. It's my experience they're good at this sort of thing.

I always assumed meniscus damage would make me feel vertical impact more, but maybe not. I have in the past had some pain around the top of my kneecap, so maybe that lends itself to the idea of general arthritis in the area.
