This is almost exactly what I did. I removed the skin, rubbed with olive oil, added salt, pepper, garlic, and a touch of rosemary on each side. I put it in the fridge and let it sit for two hours. Let the grill get hot for about 20 minutes, cleaned the hell out of it, then threw both filets on there. 4 minutes on each side, medium heat. I then turned the grill off, fixed a ceasar salad, walked out to the grill, went directly from grill to top of salad, thus a damn fine meal. I'll be doing this again soon. Thank you everyone for the suggestions. :xyzthumbs

cedar planks is another way to go on the grill. adds a really nice smokey flavor.

i'm actually doing a spice rub salmon tonight -- not grilling, tho.

mustard seeds, coriander seeds, cumin seeds -- freshly toasted and crushed. add some turmeric and salt and pepper and you've got a nice moroccan-style rub.

a good way to keep it from sticking is actually to avoid cleaning the grill

i've got a grill-pan, but i'm just going to pan-fry it. the grill-pan doesn't really do much and it's a pain in the ass to clean.

actually, i'm about to do it right now. a little couscous and some sauteed carrots and squash... yum...

put the salmon on a microwave safe plate and cook on high for 7 minutes. place fish in blender with ice and blend for a couple minutes. add vodka blend for 10 seconds. garnish rims of glasses with lemon wedges.

Yes it do. Did that on Sunday. With a garlic, rosemary, olive oil, and lime marinade.
