    Don't overcook it, and cut it against the grain. The cutting is the most important part. Needs to be in thin slices. YOu know like you LUCKY people in CA do your tri tip. Although I must say I've found them at Sam's on occasion.

    You have NO IDEA how much I miss tri tip since moving here. I can't even find a butcher that knows what it is.

    Tip of the sirlion, should look like a screwed up triangle when you get it. BEST thing to grill. Beats it all over London Broil.
