    That would be insane lol

    Has anyone ever played 4 varsity years in one sport and 1 varsity year in another?

    Interesting that he wouldn't have to sit out a year from 'transferring.' I wonder why that is.

    you get to play 10 semesters. he played 8 in one sport, so he still has two left.

    Well obviously, but what's the distinction? I assume it's been done before, hence the rule.

    Could he play football (lol) at Duke for another year or does he have to leave? Why does he only have one year of eligibility for another sport?

    It would be interesting to hear the genesis of this (instead of snarky remarks stating the obvious.)
