considering Franchise has only been drinking age for a few short months he has no basis to judge the bar scene of Greensboro or any city for that matter.

Of course if you really want a good bar scene in Greensboro go hang at Walker and Elam on any weekend night.

I moved away from Charlotte in 1997 and atthe time there was NO night life in the city other than Jonathans and the Double Door. South End Brewery had just opened and since I left the downtown bar scene in Charlotte exploded.

Greensboro had NO nightlife ( other than Walker & Elam ) when I moved back but since then the downtown bar scene has improved drastically. I wouldn't exactly say Greensboro on a weekend night can be confused with Charlotte or Atlanta but its pretty damn good.

cityboi don't pay any attention to Franchise. He's a 21 year old in a 70 year olds body - ( probably all the ephedra he keeps pumping into it ) and wants to complain about everything.

back when I used to play at Greene St. in the past couple years, that fucker would hop. Wall to wall, two story. Sky Bar I never played but I heard it was always packed for live music. It's not a tremendous Downtown scene but for the size there's not a damn thing to complain about.

Lot of colleges in that area. If they are in fact gearing only toward 30s and over, they'd be making a mistake.

 good one wossa. Maybe my opinion will change when I become ancient like you. However, if this were my opinion, and my opinion alone, I wouldn't care. However, unlike you, I have alot of accomplices and close friends who agree. GREENSBORING doesn't have the quality of night life of that of Charlotte and Raleigh, and might I add, the women in both cities are two times better looking.
