    Actually...I could make an arguement for KISS. The first 6 studio albums were WAY ahead of their time...Black Diamond in 1974? Are you fucking kidding me??? NO one else was writing shit like that. Not to mention the stage shows, attitudes, etc...

    After Dynasty they became a total fucking joke....But from 1973-1980...good stuff.

    The Eagles?

    I'm with you guys on KISS. I DVR Metal Mania on VH1 Classic, some of those mid 80s KISS videos were fucking brutal. Paul looks like such a fag dancing around in pastels.

    Kiss, Eagles, and Doors, with the Eagles number one. Honorable mention to Franki Valli and the 4 Seasons.

    The Beatles get that "pop" label a little unfairly. I guess it's cause they had the boy band style audience when they were still touring.

    The album cuts that you never hear on the radio are unbelievable. Revolver, the White Album, and Abbey Road are incredible albums. Trust me, I would love to turn on a classic rock station and hear "Golden Slumbers/Carry that Weight/The End" before I hear "Come Together" one more fucking time!! Same goes with the White Album, the original "alternative" album.
