+/- stats can be a little overrated but...

    Felton had a +/- of -1 while Augustin had a +/- of -30

Felton went out with that brutal faceplant when Garnett landed on him and the game got out of hand quickly. Henderson made a couple of nice jumpers but for the most part the team played terribly. I didn't have high expectations but man they laid an egg tonight.

The Bobcats are at .500 after the second game of the season. Unfortunately I forgot it was on so I only saw the second half onwards. First thing I noticed was that the broadcast quality appeared to be a lot better than last year. It was simulcast on Fox Sports Carolinas HD but the game itself wasn't in HD (the first game in Boston was in HD.) I hope the rest of the season that games are on that channel. Tomorrow's game is on SportsSouth (in HD) but TWC doesn't have SSHD in Charlotte. Thanks for nothing.

Anyway, they looked a lot better tonight. Stephen Graham (who?) had 14 pts including a tough 1 on 1 hoop at the end of regulation to tie the game. Apparently they were up 32-13 at the end of the first, but blew an 18 pt lead in the fourth to lead to 2 OT periods. Chandler looked active to me in the fourth, the game definitely changed when he fouled out. Only 6 pts but 8 board, although he fouled out in only 18 min. Gerald Wallace played a yeoman's effort with 52 min alongside Diaw and both played well. Diaw got a huge deciding rebound at the end of the second OT, Dub had 15 boards. Felton played huge down the stretch too, finishing 2 boards and an assist shy of a triple double.

Although it was frustrating watching them go cold and blow a huge lead, it was nice to see them finish the game strong and win. Vladimir Radmanovic needs to make a shot or two, he was horrible and stuck out on offense and defense in my opinion. He's getting paid a lot of money to suck that hard.

During the third quarter I was thinking oh shit here we go again. They really miss the defense of Bell.
