Just read it on the bottom line of CBS. He said Denver would be the perfect situation for him. So can we add Griese to the list of possible QB's available?

I expect that Denver will go with Beuerlein and bring in a young QB to groom. I think Griese will be set free. Grbac is not likely to land in Denver as he is not as good as Beuerlein and not a whole lot younger either. I would not mind seeing him in Carolina though.

    Better than Grbac?

SB better than Grbac? You're insane. Last time Grbac was in the league, he led the Ravens to the playoffs. Before that he was an offensive machine in KC.

What did SB do when he got a chance to play?

Oh yeah. He went 1-4 with great offensive tools around him.
Get of the Beurelein bandwagon already. He just can't seem to win.

without arguing the basics of Beuerlein the idea Thelt's suggesting is pretty much what I'd expect to be true. Beuerlein at his price is very good - unless they wanted Grbac fairly badly and he was willing to take very little I'd expect they'll burn a pick and get the right guy rather than just settling for a guy. Grbac might be good competition and depth but he's got no future.

It could also be B-line and Grbac duking it out for top spot, and a rookie to groom.

I don't really want Grbac, Griese, or for that matter B-line on the Panthers roster.

If Denver feels good about Beuerlein, there's no need to get Grbac and waste a rookie at #3. If they don't feel good about Beuerlein there's not necessarily a need for Griese to go. Paying both SB and EG to cut one at the end of preseason isnt' cap effective.

Grbac wanting to be in an offense like Denver doesn't suggest mutual interest. Agree about those three coming here, that's not our answer.

I'd love to see him sign with Chicago or Arizona- that would help us in the draft if we are wanting to go QB in round one.

I think he would be a good 3-4 year option for us. I wonder how close he and Del Rio were? Probally not terribly close but, if they are that could really help us.

Miami would be an interesting place for him to go.
