I think it was this week. Plus its a medical red shirt which means he can't play in more than 25% of the games, He had not played since Dec, i think.

Graves is still on the team (practices, dresses out), however he will see no floor time the rest of the season. Roy Williams addressed it in his interview after the Maryland game last night.

They said they will reevaluate his standing with the team before next season. Graves was quoted as saying he was really sorry and accepts Roy's decision and he'll do whatever it takes to get back on the court.

Ginyard is a huge loss because Frasor has no offensive ability at the moment and his shots are way off.... Ginyard at least cuts to the basket and gets putbacks, something Frasor isn't known for.

This puts a lot of stress on Green to stay out of foul trouble, and he's known for blocking shots from weakside help. Hopefully, they can keep everyone on the floor and when the bench is needed Drew, Davis, and Frasor can contribute on a nightly basis.

It's so ironic that UNC was the one team at the start of the season that had plenty of depth and now that's their problem. Ginyard is a terrible loss and one that IMO they will not recover from. They have nobody that can do what he does on defense. Right now the starters better stay in maximum condition because they are going to be on the court an awful lot. I was told back in early January that Ginyard would not be back this year so I guess the guy who told me that knew what he was talking about, damned him.
