Who's got what and do you like what you have? Going to buy a new GPS unit for the car soon. Not looking at the high end stuff but more along the $100-$200 range. Anybody recommend a particular brand?

I like the garmin products. They have been in the business for a long time making GPS(and other products) for Aviation and boating.

You can get a GPS cheap with lots of features but the most important one is how well they provide annual map updates and how much those updates cost. Garmin seems to do a pretty good job at this part.

Maps and navigation on smart phones SUCK. Nothing beats a dedicated GPS.

I have a Garmin as well and has served me well. Updating the maps on is a real mother fucker though. HORRIBLE INTERFACE. We bought another one 3 months ago (250W Nuvi I think) and put the older one in my truck.

GPS stands for Global Positioning System. GPS is specific used geographical location finding. The GPS is working on satellite. Today, GPS devices are available in market and also internet is required for the GPS devices using.
