that JJ Redick is almost as good as Adam Morrison.

Morrison will win the scoring title, but last year J.J. wasn't the leading scorer in the country. Morrison is amazing but tell me how many ranked teams he has played in 2006. They still have the same amount of 30+ point games. That's like J.P Batista is better than Tyler Hansbrough and Shelden Williams because he averages more points, which no Duke or UNC fans would ever admit.

I wish we could actually see Morrison play a couple of games. Without seeing him play there's no way to tell unless you just listen to the talking heads babble.

You are right, it's a good thing that we don't just judge a player on scoring alone. That's been the point with JJ, he isn't great or even good at anything else. Decent at a few other things, 4-6 range on a scale of 1-10.

Duke's all time scoring leader :trophy: Anyone else notice Kyle Singler sitting right in front of J.J's parents. Wonder if that was by design. I think Kevin Love was there also.

JJ gets all the venom away from Cameron, and he's handled it very well. He's developed a game where he puts the ball on the floor, his defense is tons better than it was even last year. The thing that impresses me most is his motor, it's non-stop.Every team they play has a 'stop JJ' game plan. For you guys who don't think he can't carry it over to the next level, look who guards him every game, it's 'athletic' guys who grab and hold, and it's usually 2 or 3 who get that assignment. You don't see any slow white guys on him.Congratulations to a player that you don't see come along very often.:trophy: :trophy: :trophy:

Adam Morrison has played five ranked teams this basketball season. Maryland, Michigan St., UConn, Washington, and Memphis. He averaged 33 points and six rebounds in those games. His team went 4-2, losing to UConn in Maui by 2 and by 10 or 12 points to Memphis at the Pyramid.

Redick/Duke has played more "ranked teams", but I don't really think Wake Forest should count because of the overestimated preseason ranking with the way they have played as of late.

Batista is averaging 19 and 9, at 6'9" 270 and senior/juco, he should be better than Hansbrough's freshman ass. Better than the two time defensive player of the year Williams? That's questionable.

Morrison has just as big a target on his back as Redick. Those WCC gyms are cages, also.
