Performa 630CD. Pre-PowerPC. Thought I'd float it out there for the REALLY die-hard Mac folks. I'm going to try to sell it Saturday at our garage sale unless someone here (who lives in the Charlotte area) want to make me an offer. Questions welcome.

Gotta StyleWriter II B&W printer, too.

You could always donate it to a school or something and claim it on your taxes.

This is funny - THEY WOULDN'T TAKE IT. CMS told me it was too old.

Alright now I guess everyone thought I wasn't serious. Lets bid for this thing now. How about 5 dollars now. I know you all are saying, man what a risky move. But I was thinking this is a fine piece of equipment here and it could be fun to bid on something. This could be as big as ebay before this over. So lets dig deep in our pockets and see what we can come up with. If this goes well I might even sell my collection of dirty magazines!!!!:aplayboy:

    Really?

    Too old?

That's pretty dumb. You could always make use of a computer. My cousin's class in high school are building servers from old computer parts. No wonder CMS is going down the tubes.

They aren't really going down the tubes - they have set a high standard for Macs.

Hey, Wolverine, who are you bidding against?

Yea, I can see where it might be too old for a school, not all schools are as updated.

There has got to be someone in your family, child or grandpaprent, who isn't on the internet or has a computer yet. It would make a perfect computer for something like that. Nieghbor or friends kids? Never too young or too old to start learning Macs:D

We just don't have a place to put it. It didn't sell this morning, but after using it a little, I'm thinking about keeping it.
