    good for him. he deserves it. I sure thought this was the year Jim Ed would get in, but he was a handful of votes short.

    McGwire continues to get punished by the voters. I bet he wishes he would have been forthcoming during that hearing before congress. My thinking is that if he would have told everyone he used the juice and asked for forgivness, they would have given him a pass.

    Heh. I once told the Goose to his face how bad he sucked. Of course, that's when he was with the Cubs and he really did suck bad then.

    I don't know. Maybe he gets another five percent or so, but that's it. Bonds has Gold Gloves and 500 steals; McGwire was a one trick pony.

    Without the steroid connection, McGwire was a certain 1st ballot Hall of Famer.
