Since GM is closing pontiac, how will that effect the pricing of the current cars on the lot?

I dont see a clearance sale. I just see the GM brand taking over and no more being made. So, all the Pontiac Lots will be become GM lots.

No fire sale, but parts may be a pain in the ass to come by in a couple of years.

    No way......

Look at all of them on the lot. Get ready to see them on the used lot. Low miles. Junk yards will buy them up. Cheap and sell high. Then parts form those warehouse will filter in. And boom. They still make a buck.

Not true. I owned three Pontiacs (Bonneville and Lemans used, grand am new) a total of 14 years. spent $18K total and expenses were pretty much nothing but oil changes and brakes, maybe around $2,500 over the same 14-year period. Spending a little over $20K to have a vehicle 14 years isn't bad at all.

I don't know why anyone would ever buy a pontiac. They are ugly and built like toys.

There is a reason they are being put to rest.
