I got about 30 minutes before we leave. Think about Phil and Tony's at the Arb. but not too thrilled about it. Any other suggestions?

There was a Phil & Tonys at Ballantyne Commons off Hwy 521/Johnston Rd. They changed the name, similiar pizza to Phil & Tonys - its good stuff if you like Brick Oven Pizza with character

There's a place down 521 just over the SC line that has awesome pizza, but it's mainly for takeout. Something like "______ Pizza & Ice Cream". It's on the right side of the road near a Water Tower I think.

If you order lots of toppings, they dont cut the portions like most places. And they bury each layer in more cheese. So a 4 or 5 topping pizza is a helluva lot of food.

    I highly recommend it.

Went to Wise Guys, turns out that it is owned by the same guy who owns Phil and Tonys and has the same menu. I could have driven 5 min to the Arb but instead drove to Ballantyne for the same thing. Food was just fair.

Where is that Avantis? Is it right by Michael's?
