    we will need a lot of Luck to beat MD if some how we can Beat MD then i thinks we wouid have a good changes to win the ACC let just say we beat MD and UVA beat Duke and then GT beat Wake UNC beat UVA and ST beat GT you never know some tikme a huge win can help you all im not saying this will hupend but how know no one said we have any shot of beating DUKE and we just did;)

    UNC doesn't stand a chance against Maryland - Maryland is a matchup nightmare for the Heels.

    Wake will run the table. Sweep the tourney and they deserve a Number 1 seed. So they have alot to play for.

    A number 1 seed? Arizona, Kentucky, Oklahoma and Texas are the four teams for that (today).

    true that we not going to beat MD but that we are playing the gmae everyone say mD will wn but if we play like yestrday win over Duke and even more how i dont thinsk MD will beat us by 40 or even by 30 i thinks if we lose we will lose by 15 or so 80-65 but im praying to God that im worng

    yeah but the only reason wake isn't in the mix is because they started the seson unranked - their record and a sweep of the ACC tourney makes them deserving IMO.

    ? about nIT wouid 16-15 and with all the win we have and the Rpi in 50es wouid that get UNC in to the NIT or wouid we need some how to Beat MD:confused:

    just have to be 500 - so even with a loss they are in.

    it would be nice to see them get in and do good - the team needs the confidence boost that a run through the NIT would give them.

    They're in because the NIT committee needs them. And no offense to the team, but look for a favorable draw to get them back to the Big Apple for the third time this season.

    Two home games next week for the Tar Heels.

    Good point. Plus either Texas or Oklahoma is guaranteed to lose at least one game in the Big 12 tournament, which would drop them out and open the door for wake.

    everyone saying how bad is the NIT and that you never want to be in NIT you allways want to be in NCAA but hi NIT is not bad for a team year ago was 8-20 RPI was in 120es if we can win the NIT i wouid be very happy even thou we are talking about NIT
