I just think it ridiculous that people think it is fair to haggle one way and not the other. Buying from scalpers is a game and if you aren't prepared to play when the odds are against you then don't play when they are for you.

I do not like it because it is the law .It is meant to protect people from buying up a ton of tickets and selling them for a large profit. How would you feel, if some company bought 10,000 seats to every game and then resold them for double their value? That's 10,000 people that didn't get to goto the game because they couldn't pay the jacked up price. It's not fair. And your logic is akin to people selling ice and kerosene for 10 times the amount after a natural disaster . Supply and demand...it's ok. It's not fucking ok. And if I had arrest powers in Meck county I would arrest all those MFers...if I could:mad:

There is no "upside". the purpose of the blackouts is to get people to the games. Scalpers buying up the seats keeps people in their living rooms. Where's the upside in that?

    >>Sly
I just offered him $50 because that's all I wanted topay, and I still thought I could get a seat for that. Plus offering less than face is just a way to stick it to the scalper. Fucck the scalper, they are scum pieces of shit. Just ask Dukey.

There are enough PSL holders not going to games to make tickets available on the secondary market. I think speculating in tickets should be allowed. It's like the commodities market, you buy corn in advance speculating the price will rise, and you gain or lose money depending on your judgement. On the other hand if $45 tickets are going for $100 outside the stadium I'd bet the Richardsons jack the price up! The ultimate scalpers are the primary market/monopolist owners.

With the scalpers and people that jack up prices of essential goods during disasters it is all about capitalism. The hell with the people that have not. "Let them eat cake" is their motto.

I hope the scalpers get caught and get fined a lot more than their profit on the tickets they were selling.

If I was a judge with a scalper in front of me, I would sentence him to the remainder of football season. I don't care how many illegitmate kids he has.

If that company buys 10,000 tickets and no one buys them how many times do you think they will do that? If you have ever paid less than face for a ticket then you have no right to bitch about scalpers.
