    I always respected them for having that sign up. So many businesses kowtow to the almighty dollar, and here is someone saying "This is what we stand for." I liked it!

    I find it offensive, and would not patronize the place if their sandwiches weren't so darn good.

    That's what I mean though. They had the guts to keep it up knowing that some people would take their business elsewhere. I found that impressive.

    While I have respected them for not being open on Sundays and message they are trying to convey, isn't it a little hypocritical if they or anyone else that is upset about this shops or eats out on Sunday?

    No if you take it literally it isn't. Maybe the absolute meaning was to only worship, pray and fast on the Sabbath.

    schlotzsky's deli @ 1961 e 7th st is always open on sunday. 11-7. try the cracked pepper chips with a chicken sammich. they are better than waffle fries.
