    Hasbeens, It's true that God knows all and sees all right? He knows the past the present and the future, right. And he sees all this at the same time. If he sees something bad is coming up, why can't he stop tape, splice and take it away before it happens?

    He can jb, but he chooses not to. He makes us live with what we do.

    It takes much more love to let someone do something that you know may end up hurting them (or someone else) than it does to stop them before they do it.

    And God knows that, in the end, he has the final say.

    It actually makes sense if you think about it. If god made man in his image, and man likes sex and violence, it stands to reason that god does as well.

    your response just doesn't match my post at all. I don't get it.

    VP, you said he wants us to learn from our mistakes, but what if something bad happens and you didn't make any mistake.

    That is what I meant when I said that it takes more love to let us screw things up than it does to do them for us. God could make it where no one ever felt pain or had bad things happen. But to do that he would have to take away our free will. IMO, free will is the greatest gift that God has given us, so it is not a good trade.

    I agree with this completely, and that's why I don't understand why so many Christians want to censor things and legislate morality. To me, that takes away peoples' choice to either do something positive or learn from something negative.

    Kinda like controlled chaos?

    JB...dont look so hard into things. Stuff happens and there are not always going to be cut and dry reasons why. You have to go with the flow and take one day at a time and look out for yourself. You will drive yourself nuts trying to figure every experience out and relating it to God. Think about it...how can God watch all people on this earth at all times. Not gonna happen...at least I dont believe it has/is/will. Why do serial rapist & murders die in jail of old age??? Who knows and who cares.

    Lay your Bible down for awhile and get out there and have some fun
