    Did he not get State to the Sweet 16? Is that not acceptable at NC State?

    lol. You guys got payback in the NCAAs. Actually, that loss was one of the indications Lutz was on the way out.

    didn't charlotte go up about 16 points right out of the gate because that 3-point dude got hot and was hitting from 30 ft one after the another? i think Sendek slipped him some 'herb' at halftime to cool him off....

    Yeah, that game was March 18, 2005. Plavich hit 4 straight 3 pointers and the Niners led 36 to 29 at halftime. Second half Herb put Brenneman (sp?) on Plavich and Hodge took over as State outscored the Niners 46 to 22 winning the game 75 to 63. The Niners were the 7 seed and the Pack a 10 seed. Seems so long ago now.

    That State win was payback for the 95-78 shallacking the Niners put on the Pack back in 2000 in the RBC Center.
