You and I looked at that situation at two totally different angles, and I still stand by my thoughts on it. And I really don't know what you are talking about 'the things I said too'. I don't remember throwing anyone to the wolves for their opinion.

Would this be me? Cause it is pretty clear, my disdain for Clemens has nothing to do with his considerable skill as a pitcher.

Anyway, Pujhols came through - just like players of his caliber are supposed to do. If I was Houston, I'd be a little worried right now. This is the second time through the rotation, the series stays in STL. The Stros have been playing lights out so far and STL just got their first break in the series.

    I'd be very worried.

I wouldn't say they got a break (a la Chicago in GM 2), the Cards MADE their break with Eckstein's AB, and Edmonds walk bringing up Goliath against Lidge.

    I agree--Houston, we have a problem.

VP makes a good point though...2nd time through a rotation is definitely an advantage to the hitters - but it goes both ways.

Yes it was you and you didn't hear a peep out of me over it. And I know Pujols was just doing what any other player on any team wishes they could do. It's what sports is all about. My scrambling Pujols spelling of his name had absolutely nothing to do his skill either, in fact it didn't have anything with him at all except for the fact his homerun is what lost it for the 'stros.

I just wonder why solarte likes to single me out for shit.

Jesus, Patti. Get over it. I have offered the olive branch, and you refuse to accept. You are keeping this going, not me.

whatever. sorry i disagreed with you that mentally handicapped kids have every right to be in a movie theater. your opinions are far more divine than mine, even though you have no day-to-day experience currently with a special needs kid.

Why the hell are you so miserable? Or better yet, why do you not beleive I was not giving you grief, when I CLEARLY SPELLED IT OUT IN THE PM I RESPONDED TO YOU WITH?
