    6-1 lead heading to the 8th. braves just cant seem to put anybody away, several gaffs by the infield and then the bull pen works its magic.

    the braves are world class chokers.

    congrats to the astros. they looked like a team that wanted it more. they did the right things. as good as laroche was on that grand slam he looked equally as shitty loafing on the bases prior to getting nailed at the plate. that run or lack of it was just another nail in the coffin.

    but for the braves, its always somebody thats better than them, always somebody else that makes the winning play, the winning pitch, the game winning hit. not them, they cant get the job done no matter who they play. they're world class when it comes to bending over in the play offs.

    Another year, another early exit. Been a Braves fan since '67 when I was just a kid but this constant losing in the playoffs is getting old. I would say grats to the Astros but they won't be around long enough against the Cards to bother.

    The Braves seem to win the NL Least every year and then lose to a team like Houston that finished 11 games out the lead in the NL Central.

    The Cleveland Indians had a better record than three of the teams in the NL playoffs.They also went 15-3 against the NL this year.They just play in the wrong league.Maybe they can ask MLB to place them in the NL Least.
