    look son, i'm done. i've made points and you've just babbled. here is my effort at getting this thread back on track for patti and the other astros fans.

    just like the marlins last year, houston came in playing the best ball, and have continued it. looked to be dead in the water after falling down 2-0, but have only lost once at home since august, and continued that home field success. it will still be tough to take 1 of the 2 games in st louis, where the best baseball fans in the game reside, but the astros are currently the best TEAM in baseball.

    sure, they're the best team, but they can't beat the Yankees, only the Cards can.

    I don't know about that. I think the Astros have a very good chance of beating the Yankees. They are playing great ball right now and if they keep it up, I don't see any reason why they wouldn't have a shot.

    i'll answer that with one statement, Reggie Sanders bats 7th in the lineup with the Cards...fuckin' 7th. He'd bat 2nd or 3rd with any other lineup.

    actually, he's a 3rd or 5th in the order guy. the stros are playing great AS A TEAM right now.
