    Great game by both teams. Congrats! States depth hurt them a lot at the end. I think that is more of what hurt them than Sendek, he didn't have much of a choice.

    yep, six man rotation, hard to play good D when you have 4 fouls (Hodge and Powell) and that Redick dude single-handedly got Duke back in the game. Fuck. Now to wait for the pairing show to see if we got in the dance.

    Any insight on Cal? I think if State brings their A game and plays D - and plays like they did against Duke, Maryland and Wake (each team, all games), they'll do fine.

    The Golden Bears aren't bad, I remember one year they knocked off Duke:D . The 8-9 games are always wars....we have to bring it on Thurs. GO PACK!!

    Don't know much about Cal, but I do know one thing the Herb Bashers can't deny is that Sendek teams are tough in opening games of tournaments. The emergence of Josh Powell makes State a very dangerous team. They are much much better than they were 1 month ago... once again credit to Herb and his staff.

    I think Jason Kidd was on that team - hurt like a son of a gun. It will be a war, no doubt.

    Definitely like how Josh Powell has stepped-up. Remember when he took Boozer to the rack a couple of times at the RBC, and jammed. I was impressed then - but - Josh seemed to disappear and/or lose his confidence. The kid can play.
