You really think so? I can't imagine being that pessimistic. I'm really not rubbing it in on you guys. I would be miserable.

No one's mentioned Cignetti. Wasn't he supposed to be something great? Is he HC material?

USF is a pretty good team. I'd like our chances against Virginia if it was at home, but winning in Charlottesville will be tough. Beyond that, State and Duke are the only two that look like possible victories.

For some reason I think the basketball season is going to be a disappointment. I just don't see any senior leadership with Noel gone, and I'm not sure how the young guys will mesh with the ones who started last year.

It all depends on how much leadership they can get from Hansbrough and Rey Terry. Terry being the only real senior of note. Avoiding something similar to the 1994 syndrome will also be key.

    But back to the topic...

Oh god, don't tell me that.

Reyshawn can't provide leadership... right? Right?

Yeah, now that I think about it, Noel did good things last year - Hansbrough was the work horse, but Noel was the clue. He did have his share of screwups though.

I dunno how this season will turn out. All the pre-season #1 worries me.

Speaking of Noel, just saw his stat line in the preseason vs. Bobcats - he started, played 26 minutes, shot 6-7 for 14 points, and a couple rebounds, assists, stls and blocks.
