    Got to admit he's proving many of those naysayers from last year wrong. Have respect for a guy who donated $2Mil for a school library and not some athletic building.

    He and his wife have donated over $4million to PSU. You don't hear of too many coaches doing that. He deserves more respect then any other coach.

    Joe Paterno should have retired a long time ago. Few people even mention that Penn State's resurgence has come in large part because Paterno finally gave up all control over the offense and defense to the coordinators, who then installed schemes for the 21st century instead of the 19th. He has been great for college football and seems like a wonderful man, but I don't think he's responsible for their current record and he should have taken to his rocking chair many seasons past.

    That's not much considering what some of these other worthless coaches cost their universities yearly.
