- Look at me, I'm Curtis Nash, I had my head up my ass last year but now I'm awesome!

- Clemmons is a beast.

- There are better ballplayers than C.J. Pigford, but few that are as athletic.

- Iti looks like a baby giraffe out there. Someone get his footwork up to speed! Also, he doesn't shoot - he PUSHES the ball up there.

- We were lucky to win... GS isn't a bad team at all.

 

Iti's 10 foot jump hooks have got to stop.

the minutes are amazingly close, I wonder if Bobby was just running everyone in and out for practice and competition, or is that the rotation?

nash 6-9 from the field???? he never did that in Halton.

 

one more thing, please tell me Withers is gonna start. CJ is fine and all, but I don't understand him starting over Withers. Maybe its a defensive reason.

one other interesting stat, Butter and Demon each had 5 assists. I doubt Butter has ever had 5 assists in a game, maybe him and Demon really are gonna be unselfish.

 

Iti 0-7 from the field. 2-7 if you count just drawing iron,

I knew he wasnt gonna score, but that hook is painful.

Sager, Johnson, Mitch, unselfish Demon, Clemmons when working the two man game with DB, and Pigford in the 2nd half all get a big :xyzthumbs

Jury is still out on the rest. There are some jobs at stake I think. The difference between guy #1 in our rotation and guy #10 isnt that big, and I dont mean that in a good way.

We still have zero post offense. Everyone either slashes (less effective) or shoots jumpers (much more effective). We are still a perimeter team.

We've got work to do. GW is gonna be a tough game for us.

 

I was in the Media Room for Bobby's post game remarks. He said it was the worst shooting the team had done since practice began. He wished there was one or two more exhibitions to get ready. Was thrilled with Clemmons' performance. Said Iti sat more than he'd planned due to Global going small on the 49ers. Of course that's when Clemmons pulled the giant out from the basket. If he can hit that jumper, we'll do fine.

Sager is somehow going to get a few minutes somewhere I think.

 

Clemmons will not be able to pull that off in real games.

don't worry about Pigford vs. Withers, Badsen should not get more than twenty minutes a game, unless one of the first two are hurt.

Iti has a lot to learn.

Demon didn't look any different. Plavich ain't special. Some nights he might hit a lot of threes, some nights he won't. Will never intimidate anybody on defense.

Mitchell is our best guard right now.

I can't wait to see Bennett, maybe he actually has some floor vision.

Iti definitely is not ready for the NBA.

Pigford is already better than Basden.

Plavich is no Jobey.

Baldwin needs to be the PG.

Besides Nash wearing a different color uni, it felt like last year.
