    you can filter vodka to get the cheap taste out, but IMO gin's gin.

    sadic speaketh the truth. It's very easy to empty a fifth in one afternoon. I've tried the more expensive shit and it just doesn't matter. gin will tear you up though.

    it sounds kinda pussy, but Smirnoff makes a black cherry vodka (little weaker than regular, 70 proof I think) that mixes well with lemonade. we went through a liter and a half over Memorial Day weekend.
