    He'll never make it. He has a bad knee, Swollen. Sounds like another Jeffers to me !

    I know some of you took a look at the position normally occupied by Gilbert. I have in vain looked for a thread on my man Leroy.

    I thought he looked very strong. Only once did I see him get driven off the line with a double team. Most of the time he clogged that middle up nicely allowing a seam for the LBs to make a play. One on one he drove his man backwards consistantly. He also had good lateral movement and hustle. Lastly I never saw the OL turn him around so he couldn't see the play.

    Piper I know you look in the trenches. Do you see my NT in Leroy? Anybody?

    Emarlos Leroy. Because Gilbert wasn't there, Buckner started and Leroy was second team.

    He'd make an OK nosetackle but we don't really need that type player. Our DTs don't have to be spectacular but we do need two decent guys to hold their gaps and at least be able to take advantage of a guard's mistake.
