    apparently after the fifth book (which is now about three years late) is finished there are two more books planned. The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring. Those will be published in 2015 and 2026.

    Seriously, I bet the next book doesn't come out until the HBO series is hitting the air.

    And it wasn't very good. Why would anyone want to wait so long to read something that is getting so much worse book over book? Maybe he's taking so long so that he can actually have something worth writing about, but I doubt it.

    If it does well and HBO keeps picking it up the screenwriters will have to finish it for him.

    Kind of hard to believe that he actually finished another book in the series. I'm still betting the odds are he dies before finishing the series at the rate he gets a book published.

    I think Medieval Europe, but in Space, on a middle east planet, with giant man eating sandworms. There, that clears it up. :ufo: :gmorning:
