    NO FUCKING SHIT!!

This is big. I guess I'll have to get it too. I'm gonna go start brushing up on the books again. And I don't mean jerking off on them.

So, I take it these are good books to read ?
Are we talking Lord of the Rings (fantasy/elves/good vs evil) types, or more of a Dune (political) flavor ?

It's been compared to Lord of the Rings, but this is even better IMO. More complex, but not in a confusing way. I mean that it's not your clear-cut good vs. evil type of story.

I haven't read the Dune books, but Ice & Fire would be more along the political type lines, I guess. It does feature dragons, but it's more focused on a set of kingdoms & their people. Lots of intricate characterization. Lots of intrigue & adventure. Humor & tragedy & twists of fate & surprises.

I'm not even particularly a fan of fantasy fiction, but this may be the best fiction I've ever read. Quality, quality stuff.
