    It goes along the same lines as Jarhead did about the daily lives of the soldiers and what they go through. Except it's way better written than Jarhead and has action in it instead of them sitting around in the desert like in Desert Storm

    The writers did at least enough homework to get the lingo and slang right. If they aren't veterans themselves they had some damn good consultants.

    I also agree that the show is realistic without being preachy propaganda in either direction. I might try and make more time to catch more episodes in the future.
