    I saw two days ago that he officially wasn't listed with the league anymore. The rest was speculation.

    no you reported you THOUGHT it would happen... they JUST made it official that's my point... just because someone THINK the Panthers will do something doesn't make it so... What I'm reporting is the ACTUAL news not what I think will happen

    What I reported back before Christmas (not that it matters) was that I sat at a table for breakfast right beside Peter, Jeff Lewis, and some others... Peter told the owners who were friends, he was not returning to football, he was moving back home for good.

    Since it came from Peter and not the Panthers, I'd say it was pretty much a done deal...

    By the way, I saw him autograph a whole bunch of "Toys for Tots" at the restaurant before he left... he also took the time to speak to a few customers in the restaurant...
