I heard this on FNZ this morning that GB is 1-9 against the spread in home games before they play Chicago. Very interesting. They play Chicago at home next week.

If the Panthers can somehow win this game, then the playoffs become a realistic possiblity. Common sense says they will lose this one - but win it and their dreams get a lot closer! Plus, we can shut up all those crows out there that think we suck.

I say common sense says the Panthers will win this game. GB is so beat up and their defense is giving 30+ points a game. I fully expect to win this game.

Yeah Culpepper looked horrible. That's how even a good QB looks against a very good D - horrible.

I hope our D makes Brett Favre look 'horrible' this Sunday too.

Culpepper didn't look all that horrible in the first game against Chicago, when their offense amassed 364 yrds total O (136 yrds rushing)against Chicago's 'great' D. They scored 23 pts., and only lost by 4 pts. They also kept the ball for 31 mins. Everybody said upon completion of the game what a great football team Chicago was-probably "playoff bound". They beat a team who hadn't won a game this year. They (Chicago) hadn't beaten a team who had won one by week 2, either, and they still haven't.

Minn's second game offensively against below average Buffalo D, still amassed 449 yds. total (213 yrds rushing), scored 39 pts. and only lost by 3 pts. in OT. Moss gets 11 catches, 111 yrds. Minn's TOP was 30.23. Everybody says Buffalo is a good team. They hadn't beaten a team who had won a game either. Still haven't yet.

Green Bay wins over opponents' combined records: 1-5. The one win by their opponents was Atlanta (1-2) over the Bungles.
They barely beat a Lion's (3-0) team we routed. The Lions scored 7 against us, 31 against GB. They won against Atlanta by 3 pts in OT. They were beaten by NO 35-20.

New England wins over opponents' combined record: 2-6. They are going to the Super Bowl. At least for now. I think the Chargers will upset them this week.

Carolina has beaten the "spread" in almost every game they have played over the last 2 seasons. They have beaten the spread, and the lines, for the last 3 games. The last 3 games last year we didn't do so great against the spread. The spread and the lines were against us for every game we have played for the last 2 seasons.

Carolina will win in GB this Sunday, barring a complete melt-down.
If the game is close, I believe we will win.
