I discovered that mixing Tequila, triplesec, and lemon lime gatorade mix taste's just like a regular margarita without the Sour mix bellyache ofter associated with too many margarita's.

    just sayin...

Skip the tequila and triple sec. Buy grain alcohol and use it instead.

It's cheaper, quicker, and you can use any remaining grain alcohol to start a fire on a cold night.

That reminds me of making moonshine on the stove. We never drank the stuff cause when we poured it on the back patio and lit it, the shit burned for several minutes. Anything that burned for that long could not be safe to drink.

Gatorade sounds like a good sub for sours. I am the same way. I can drink one, but more than that and it leaves a taste in my mouth. Plus, I have bad heartburn, and sours ain't exactly good for that.

Shine works real well in Gatorade too - it's just that good shine is expensive as hell. I am going back a bit, but we used to buy a pint of grain (Allen's) and 4 bottles of Gatorade for about 12-14 bucks when I was in high school. That was good enough to fuck two people up pretty good. BTW, that $12 doesn't include the tire for the fire.

I swear Allegany County, NY, could have been annexed to WVa. Only difference was we'd mix the grain (Everclear) with a half-gallon can of Hi-C (wild berry). And the tire fires — don't know how many times my dad woke my ass up the next morning wanting to know how I got soot all over the car Again. Haybales and kerosene work good too.

I've heard there's a good Margartia recipe using Mountain Dew, but I'm not sure what it is. Anyone else know?
