Truesome. We had a nice, thorough soaking yesterday, the first in several weeks.

i am installing an electric fence around the perimeter of my garden. so far, i've set the post for my controller, driven a 6' grounding rod (3/4" galvanized pipe), set my fence posts, insulators, and ran my fence wire. hopefully, today i'll build a small weather-proof housing for my controller and attach the ground wire and connect power to my fenceline. so far its only about 6" off the ground. i hope to keep the coons and groundhogs out at night. i may run some more wire, shoulder high to a small deer. i've seen some come up the pasture, along with the cows, around dusk from time to time.

so far, everything is starting to produce except for the zucchini and watermelons. i even have some small jalapenos. i have some large green maters too. it wont be long now. i have some male blossoms on the zucchini but no swolled up females. the bees need to get to work. sadly, my electric fence has claimed the lives of 3 birds.
