    What kind of vegtables? Homegrown corn is good, but I don't think you can grow those in planters.

    I've been told that the herbs will flourish here. There is at least one person growing herns commercially on the island.

    Over on St Johns there's an herb farm over there and he grows tons of lavender. I'm going to get some next time I'm down there.

    Add cilantro up there on your list.

    I little bit is good in Salsa, but it is easily over-done. Otherwise I don't really like it on anything.

    my greens already have small leaves (started sunday afternoon) and the tomato seeds are just staring to open up

    Tastes like soap.

    I'd like to grow asparagus but my neighbour lady told me it takes two years. She's pretty old and extremely smart so I believe her.

    no squash or okra? I think okra is fun to grow. We were going to pickle it last year, but it really wasn't a good year for okra.
