    Daniel Day Lewis was absolutely incredible in this movie. Definitely the best flick of the year. I'm kinda shaken afterwards. Put me in thinken mode.

    it took me a while to realise that was lewis. fairly accurate historically too.

    Ok movie. Lewis was awesome but they could have at least cut out half an hour. A bit too long for me.

    Awesome movie even with Dicrappio in it. I'm going up to NY next weekend and hope to see some of the area represented in the movie. Maybe there will be something left to see.

    Finally rented the movie. I will state like most that DDL is who made the movie. Without him this would have sucked.

    While Deeecrappio can act on some occasions and I think he did ok in this movie, I just really don't think he was the right person for the part. I noticed in the final march he had with his gangs that they had nothing but short guys around him to make him look taller.

    Diaz needs to give up her acting career after this one.

    If the movie were between an hour and half to two hours, cutting out Diaz and a few of LD scenes then this movie would have been great.

    3 stars outta 5.
