Fable's a keeper... a worthy successor to Zelda for more mature gamers if you're into action RPGs. I laughed out loud at numerous moments playing through it the first time. If you're into charater customization you'll love it. It's not really hard and you won't die much; its value lies in unlocking the hidden secrets, fooling around with the numerous mini-games, and overall immersion in a beautifully-created world. It's definately a showcase of the XBox's well-publicized graphic superiority.

    Gran Turismo 4?

Thats the only reason Im hanging on to mine.

PS3 has some stepping up to do, and Im sure Sony will come around with nothing less than the best.

I bought a ps2 just to play san andreas. I don't really know of any big games that'll make me want to keep it, but once san andreas comes out on xbox, I'll probably put the ps2 on ebay or something.

Fable is okay, I like KotOR better.

Xbox is a better system, but I can name more games for PS2 that are worth playing than Xbox has period.

If you want a lot of good games that are exclusive to a system, you don't get an Xbox. I like my Xbox better, but honestly, they are lacking in the overall video game department. Tell me 10 games that you can only play on Xbox that make it worth having over a PS2.

Here are 10 games exclusive to PS2 (and not even the 10 best games)...

    1. Dark Cloud 2
    2. Mark of Kri
    3. Suikoden III
    4. Star Ocean
    5. Jak and Dexter
    6. Ratchet and Clank
    7. Devil May Cry
    8. Culdcept
    9. Shadow Hearts
    10. Onimusha

I didn't even mention GTA, Square Enix games, Metal gear Solid, etc. It's not comparable. PS2, simply put, has more and better games. Graphically, the Xbox is better, but their library pales in comparison.

well MS is kinda like nintendo at this point, having to rely on 1st party games. Sony is real big because of the huge amounts of 3rd party developers that love it. Personally, I think MS jumping a year early to get the xbox 2 out next holiday season is stupid...

If you ever played the dreamcast, it easily can have games that look like they are on ps2. It just died when the ps2 hype machine came rolling in a year later.

Only Metal Gear 2, Metal Gear 3 is on PS2.

And there's the fact that you can play all those great PS1 games on PS2. The collection of games that you can play on PS2 dwarfs Xbox. If you like to play a wide variety of games (especially action, adventure and RPGs), Xbox is not the system to get. If you like playing sports games and FPS, Xbox is a great system.

There is also the Ace Combat series, Crimson Sea 2, and a shit load of other really great games.

Dreamcast is my favorite system of all time. They had the best games. Power Stone, Shenmue, Virtua Tennis, Soul Caliber, and Skies of Arkadia spring to mind right off the bat. Sega has always been willing to take chances, they are just terrible at marketing their shit.

hell yeah, I still play mine every now and then. You can buy one for like 20 bucks now, and i even cleaned out ebames here for all their controllers and vmu's. The only way to get games really now is ebay, but you can also just download the iso's..

shenmue II failed miserably and pretty much every other sega game on the xbox because sega never markets their shit. Even their ESPN games are doing well because of word of mouth, no marketing. Sega's handing those over to Take Two eventually anyways.
