It will never ever be good enough for Collin. Who agrees with me?

Until Weinke starts, and the head coach position in the NFL is eliminated, Collin will continue to be a miserable fuck.

You know no more football that most of us here. If you did, you would not be posting on a message board so often. You would be working in a front office somewhere.

You're a contrarian. It's trendy. Too fucking stubborn to give a game ball to 21-32, 341, and 3 TDs.

    Bottom line.

This addresses the two key points. Those being: I'm not certain why Collin's using crowd noise as an indicator, and that Collin's smart enough not to say Jake sucks. I do think he's still gunshy, at best, and eternally down upon him, at worst, but he's giving Jake credit for a good game. That shouldn't be the argument most of you are pushing, because he's giving credit, with a ton of asteriks.

The rest of his points, which got argued in the first place because he decided to tell others why they weren't actually watching the game if they gave out a game ball, was that his two main points have nothing to do with giving out a game ball, or the validity thereof.

*Where you watch a game and what people around you say? That's as relevant as whether your dog barks at the TV when Troy Aikman tries to sell you cheese-its.

*Making a few mistakes isn't contrary to giving a game ball. Guess what? The stats really did kick ass, but I didn't realize he had as high a rating as he did when I gave him one. Regardless, I've never seen a perfect Jake game, but that was an awfully good one.

Past that, Collin's main point of bitching is that "Jake hasn't turned the corner from potentially making stupid mistakes." Which I don't see a ton of stupid throws, compared to his entire career. If this is Jake, I'll still take it.

But I don't think anyone's said "Jake is cured" or "wow, we've turned the corner, everything's sunshine and roses now." Nor does that have anything to do with a game ball, nor should a game ball have to do with whether or not he's made past stupid throws.

Past that, it's my opinion. I think he had a hell of a game. I wouldn't give it to him over Smitty, but I don't find that option necessary. Both had great games.

Collin's is that he doesn't deserve one. I'm not debating that, it's his opinion. It's stupid to argue over whether someone's opinion is valid because "_____", IMHMFGDO.

It's my opinion that Jake played a helluva game.

    It's a fact that he was 21-32, for 341 yards and 3 TD's.

It's also a fact that he is second in the NFC in passer rating.

    Another fact: We won.

Dumbass. Other people already confirmed both that there were massive groans and that Jake made at least three stupid throws. For future reference, when you're being fed down a wood chipper, you probably don't want to push yourself faster.

See above, dumbass. I remembered today what the third throw was (Proehl in the endzone), which B&B confirmed was a bad decision.

Actually it's until I get the taste of your mother's pussy out of my mouth. That bitch was rank. And for the record, I was one of the people who said that starting Weinke over Delhomme would be ridiculous.

Once I finish my Masters degree I may well end up "working in a front office somewhere" (although it's more likely to be the front office of a baseball team), but people already know that I have a national fantasy football magazine. That obviously has nothing to do with how I spend free time. And for the record, I may be "a miserable fuck," but you're just as bad and yet you don't have the benefit of actually offering any football knowledge. You're a complete asshole and you make a fool of yourself with utterly stupid arguments demonstrating a complete lack of knowledge. That makes you a dickhead and worthless.

OK....no one is disputing the fact that Jake 141.1 passer rating, and other important numbers from Sunday were not wonderful--that was a tremendous day.

The fact does remain that Jake got away with some throws into coverages that should have been INT's. That is all that I was saying earlier, and I maintain that stance now.

I don't give a shit about who said what in this thread. I was at the game and there were no groans. You are exaggerating to cover the Anti-Delhomme agenda.

Point on the Weinke comment was that you can't stand Delhomme.

Great work on your masters. Proud of you. Checked out your blog. You are really the proudest stringer I know. Best of luck in all of your future stringing endeavors.

Anytime you wanna test my football knowledge, just tee one up and let me take you deep. You are one smug bastard.

BTW...what kind of insecure dicknose has to deliberately point out that he is working on his Masters.

You wanna know the truth. Contrary to your Jeffersonian ways, you are not the only "writer" in the house. I am a writer too, which gives me some understanding on why you are such a negative asshat. I write for The Greenville News in SC. Nope, it's not rotto-baseball-world.com (or whatever you pen for), but it's a decent rag in a decent market. I cover football for a living. Not always right, but I know enough about football to talk it with Collin.

And, yes....the throw to Proehl in the end zone was a bad throw.

But you started your first post without even remembering that particular play. If it was that fucking bad, wouldn't it have been the first thing that came to mind?

Are you referring to the time that you asserted that coaching the NFL didn't matter, and everyone and their sister thought you had lost you fucking marbles?

I only remember one time where you and I argued, and it was on the coaching issue. I wouldn't say I raped you on that one, but there is a little semen still on your nose.
